Reimagining Chinese folklore with a modern, contemporary feel. So many textures and rhythms at play to get lost in.
Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, was a powerful fighter and quick to anger. He eventually learned the importance of self control and finding peace within himself, many qualities that Matt relates to. Our interpretation of Wukong was a primal version of him, raw and unrefined before he discovered the better qualities of a human nature.
